The Parable of the Sower. What does it mean?

This parable is also found in Luke, 8:1-15.

When she prays, heaven resounds. Darkness trembles, fear bows. You may know who or you may not. You may even think no one is. That is not truth. Can you believe people pray not knowing why or for whom? God asks them to pray and they just do.

I used to be a motorcycle safety instructor. One of the hardest concepts to train riders to do was to keep their eyes up and focused forward. Searching for possible hazards and looking onward to where they were going. Where you are looking is where you are going to go. When I was learning to ride, my motorcycle and I crashed into a big pothole right in front of me. My eyes were stuck on the pothole instead of looking up to find an alternate path of travel to avoid the pothole. Are you looking into a pothole?

History has the habit of repeating itself because we never learn how important God is in our lives.

The Parable of the Weeds. What does it means?

God’s Promises

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into ... Mathew 6:9b-13

Try saying this prayer in the first person. Brings it home a little more.

Our Father in heaven, hallowed by Your name, Your kingdom come, You will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give me today my daily bread. And forgive my debts, as I also forgive my debtors. And lead me not into temptation but deliver me from the evil one.

To God Be The Glory!
